    1.0 SCOPE

    2.0 SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

    3.0 INSTRUCTIONS

    Step-by-step procedures organized by equipment status and usage conditions.


     3.1 With Vacuum Pump "Off":

    • Pad seal inspection, general condition check.

    • Tightness of bolts/clamps.

    • Vacuum filter (glass jar) cleaning.

     3.2 With Vacuum Pump "On" but No Load:

    • Airflow test at each pad.

    • Oiler fill using DTE light oil.

    • Verify tightness and proper cycling of air from each pad.

     3.3 With Vacuum Pump "Off" – Full Cleaning:

    • External unit washdown.

    • Muffler and filter cleaning using Inhibisol or equivalent.

    • Bronze sintered filter care.

    • Lubrication of moving parts with DTE Medium oil.

     3.4 With Vacuum Pump "On" but No Load:

    • Visual inspection of overall operating condition.

     3.5 With Vac-U-Lifter "On" – Full Load:

    • Gauge and indicator validation vs. expected performance.

    • Vacuum buildup test (check speed and peak steadiness).

    • Load lifting as per instruction tag.

    • Noise, vibration, leak, and heat inspection.

    • Reserve vacuum check – vacuum drop shouldn’t exceed 3" over 15 minutes.

    • Vac-Off Cycle check – confirms safe and immediate load release.
